This club provides a casual environment for signing (American Sign Language)
with others. This will include cultural experiences and other related
activities, including a trip to the WA Deaf School for the ASL Immersion

Club
Those interested in chess will have a chance to play and strategize with
other students.A great opportunity to improve your skills. This is a
competitive team, ending their season with the State Chess Tournament held

Dance team is a competitive performance team. Participants are chosen in the

This club provides a forum for students interested in issues dealing with
diversity. This involves activities affecting the IHS campus as well as our

Club
This club allows students to have the opportunity to become more involved
with performance art as well as attending related events. The year's events
would culminate in attending a drama competition in San Francisco in the

Team
Drill is a competitive performance team. Participants are chosen in the

Environmental/Wildlife Club
Provides a forum for students interested in environmental issues affecting
our campus and our community. Students will be assessing the recycling
program at IHS and planning for our campus beautification day in the Spring.

LINK Crew
LINK Crew is a transition program for incoming 9th graders. It is
facilitated by junior and senior students. These students are selected in
the Spring and after receiving training, provide mentorship for freshmen

Designed for students who enjoy mathematical discussions and would like to
focus on solving techniques that appear frequently on math contests, but not

National Junior Honor Society
A community service organization for those students who have met the
academic requirements and enjoy assisting within their communities. Students
must have a 3.5 GPA. Grades 9-12

Club
Designed for students who wish to promote the appreciation of opera as an
art form. Students will attend performances and be involved with the Seattle
Opera Youth Outreach program.

This club is designed for students who wish to play ping pong on a regular

Robotics Club
Learn about and build robots using advanced technology and skills. Student
will attend events such as the Society's Robothon in Seattle and participate

and Snowboard Club
This club is designed to give students the opportunity to share their love
of the snow. Meetings will take place to allow students to explore the

Club
Designed for students who wish to learn more about the Hispanic culture
through a variety of activities and events. These include preparing Latino
food, watching movies in Spanish, playing games, etc. Grades 9-12

Student Traffic Court
A court run by IHS students at the King County District Court House. This
court is designed to mediate student traffic violations. Jurors are selected
at the start of eachschool year. Grades 11-12.

surrounding Issaquah High School. Hikes are planned on a regular
