Parents are a key constituent group within the Issaquah High School Family.  We encourage you to become involved in one of the many activities that are available for parents:  Parent, Teacher, Student Association (PTSA), Booster Club, as a chaperone for one of a number of after school activities, as an active supporter of one of the clubs or activities on campus, or within the Site Council.  The links below are to support you as you endeavor to support our kids.

Writing Lab

For students who struggle with writing or just need help polishing a finished piece, the Issaquah High

School English department offers a biweekly writing lab in the school library from 2:30pm to 4:00pm on

Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students benefit from one on one writing help and advice provided by

experienced English teachers. This service is free and open to all students. You can find detailed

information about specific times and dates the lab is offered by visiting the IHS web site and clicking

on the “school calendar” link.

It’s easy to check or update your Family Access info:

  • go to www.issaquah.wednet.edu

  • look for Family Access in the left hand menu

  • login to Family Access using the information sent to each family from school last fall.  (Or call your elementary school secretary or middle and high school registrar if you have misplaced that information.) 

  • NEW! WASL resource for parents at www.wasl2006.org.

         Convenient and timely information about WASL, WASL retakes and alternative assessment options – also info about testing

         in grades 3-8.
