Information and Announcements

Homecoming 2007: Homecoming week was a huge success! Thank you to the students, staff, and parents who helped fill this week with traditions, fun activities and spirit.  A big thank you to Michael Bailey who took the time Friday night in the pouring down rain to help Mrs. Kemmerer find her lost diamond stone in the football stands. Bailey was the hero of the night after finding the ring on the ground in the stands.

Evening Events: With all of the evening events that happen at the high school, it is important to know your student’s schedule and make transportation arrangements. We want to make sure that all students leave the school safely and administrators often stay after events until every student is picked up.

The IHS band looked amazing in their new marching band uniforms at Friday night’s Homecoming game led by Director, Pat Holen. Mr. Holen has been teaching at Issaquah HS since 2001. Mr. Holen graduated from Indiana University and taught in Milan, Indiana before moving to the Pacific Northwest. Pat is also a Master’s Candidate with the American Band College in Ashland, Oregon and is looking forward to completing the program. He has also performed with various groups around the Seattle area including the Greenwood Concert Band and the Monktail Creative Music Concern. When Pat is not spending his time at various Issaquah High School events, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Anna, and cats, Gigi and Sophie.
