Seniors, tell us your post high school plans!  Print out and return to counseling your Senior Exit Form.  Turn in your form to Mrs. McGinnis, in the Counseling Office (C3), so we know where to mail your final transcript and you can get your graduation tickets! Graduation tickets would not be issued until we have this form turned in.

 

 

Senior Calendar

 

        Baccalaureate correction.  This non-denominational celebration will be presented Sunday, June          1st at 4:00 p.m. at the Newport Covenant Church (12800 SE Coal Creek Parkway, Bellevue WA.) 

         The church is located at the corner of Coal Creek Pkwy and Factoria Blvd. Graduates need to

         arrive by 3:30 in their cap and gown along with stoles or cords.  Graduates who are performing

         need to arrive at 2:30.  Feel free to bring friends and family to the program and reception.

Senior Celebration Information

 

         Senior Celebration, an all-night safe and sober event, takes place after Graduation. Seniors          will be transported by bus at 12:00 p.m. from the school to SAFECO Field (mandatory).  After          commencement, parents are responsible for transporting the seniors home.  All seniors attending          the all night party are to be at Issaquah High School by 9:00 p.m. to board buses for the senior          party.  They will return to the school at 6:00 a.m.

Honors and Awards

         Senior Honors & Awards Night, Tuesday, May 20th:  IHS wants to recognize you and the

         college scholarships & awards you have received.  Tell us what you've been awarded!  Fill out the

         form and return it to Mrs. McGinnis in the Counseling Office, C-3 by May 7th.  Honors & Awards

         form.

Graduation Stoles and Cords

         Graduates with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 to 4.0 (based on the 7th semester) may purchase a gold          satin stole to wear to the Honors and Awards Dessert on May 20 and the graduation ceremony on          June 12.  Students with a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74 may purchase a gold cord for their recognition.           The Counseling Office will sell these items for Herff Jones Company.  The stoles are $15.00 and          the cords are $8.50.  Students should bring checks made out to “Herff Jones” to Mrs. McGinnis in          the Counseling Office.  Should you have any questions, call 425-837-6140.  Sorry, we can accept          no cash.

Transcripts

         Postage stamps for business size envelopes went from 41 cents to 42 cents on May 12th

         Any envelopes submitted to the Counseling Office to mail transcripts must have the correct

         postage.  This mainly pertains to the mailing of the final transcript to the college of your choice. 

         Larger manila envelops (10” by 13”) will now require $1.00 postage.
