            Play guitar. This is a beginning course for anyone who would like to learn. The course will cover chords, strumming, picking, scales, and reading music and tabs, and jammin’. You will need to provide your own 6 string guitar, case (optional but recommended), an extra set of strings, and your music book ($25). Class may be repeated.

Playing an instrument and music reading has a direct correlation with language reading. Decoding, patterning and fluency will be practiced daily. It is a Performance-based class that emphasizes Organization, Logic, Universal Language, Self-Expression, Technology, Fine Motor Skills, Group Work, and Personal Management & Leadership.
