Description
The student will write a song, publish it in printed form and record it.

A singing experience. This class is for the person who would like to sing but doesn’t want the pressure of adjudicated performances. Course of study includes how the voice works, singing in tune, choosing music, singing in different styles, and reading music, field trips, videos and guest artists. No musical experience necessary.

The student will learn how to sing in tune using correct vocal technique. The student will be able to choose appropriate music for his/her voice in a variety of musical styles. The student will study vocal physiology. The student will be able to sight read a basic 4-part chorale. The student will experience ensemble and solo singing.
