COLLEGE VISITS AT IHS!   Students interested in attending should sign up in the Career Center.  Juniors and Seniors who wish to attend a visit during one of their classes must ask the teacher for their OK.  At the end of the presentation we give the students at "back to class" pass so that they can prove attendance.  Sophomores are encouraged to attend when the visit matches their lunch period.  The majority of college visits happen Sept - Dec.  We post the list of visiting schools below, after the visit date they are deleted from the list.

List as of October 10, 2009:

Each school name is hyperlinked to go directly to that colleges' website for more information!  * Items are newly added!  YELLOW highlighted items have date or time changes.

College Events NOT at IHS: The IHS Career Center posts this information from flyers we receive.  Many additional colleges hold events in our area.  Student should go to the websites of all the schools they may be interested in and fill out the online "get more information" section.  Expressing interest in a college is a positive thing because it shows the school you are interested and pro-active and gives the university the opportunity to invite you to all kinds of events.
