I am reformatting the Deaf Culture assignment for all levels of ASL to align more closely with the criteria set by SCCC for college credit. You will need to go to at least 4 hours (40 points worth) of Deaf Culture events.

Deaf Culture Contact Assignments
You must submit proof of attendance. (A ticket stub, program, or name and signature of the wonderful Deaf person who was kind enough to sign with you. If it was at work or out to dinner with your family, then get the signature of your boss or parents)
You will write a report about your experience. Tell me about the successes, failures, challenges, unexpected and funny things. Tell me what you thought and how you felt. Write about how it relates to Deaf Culture…don’t tell me the storyline of the play or movie unless it was about Deaf Culture! The reports will be double-spaced, size 12 font Times New Roman with 1 inch margins. It must be more that 1 page but not more than 2. I will grade for content.
Nothing will be accepted for Deaf Culture Contact after Friday, June 8, 2007
